Thames valley University
Summary: CPPD in Clinical Hypnosis (Certificate) / Post-Graduate Certificate in Clinical Hypnotherapy (Diploma) / CPPD Practitioner Studies (Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis) / CPPD in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH Practitioner Diploma) are validated by Thames valley University.
The London College of Clinical Hypnosis is currently in partnership with Thames Valley University, and its courses in clinical Hypnosis are accredited by the university. Below you will find a breakdown of the various courses provided through our relationship with TVU.
The introductory course is the LCCH Certificate which has been structured by TVU as a Certificate in Personal and Professional Development (CPPD) in clinical Hypnosis. The CPPD is a curriculum graded at Level 6, this acts as an entry point qualification for the TVU post graduate programme which manifests itself in an MSC in Clinical Hypnosis.
Following completion of the CPPD, the next course in the curriculum is the LCCH Diploma Course which has been validated by TVU as a Post Graduate Certificate in clinical Hypnosis. Successfully completing the course will lead to a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis.
Having completed the PG Cert the next stage in the process is the LCCH Practitioner Course and the LCCH Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy course, both of which have been validated as a CPPD course by TVU. These courses act as the final part of the core curriculum. Students who successfully complete both CPPDs will have a Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) in Clinical Hypnosis
Once the Post Graduate Diploma is completed students will be in a position to enrol in the MSC in Clinical Hypnosis Programme. This course has a Research Methods module and following this a dissertation, relevant to Clinical Hypnosis is required.
Students from other Hypnotherapy colleges and previous LCCH students have the opportunity to transfer into the TVU curriculum by successfully completing the relevant bridging courses which have been structured by the LCCH. This allows eligible students access to the university program,
The courses we have created with TVU show a significant progression in our commitment to providing premium level training in clinical Hypnosis. There is no other Hypnotherapy college or training program in the UK that can offer students a validated Post Graduate University qualification. This accreditation is recognised and acknowledged by medical professionals and academic bodies alike, on both a national and international level.
University of Greenwich
LCCH Certificate / Diploma / Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis / Cognitive Behaviour Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma were accredited by the University of Greenwich.
British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
The LCCH is an organisational member of the BACP.
Medical Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis (MDCH)
The Medical Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis has been approved for 60 PGEA credits by some Health Authorities.
Royal College of Nursing (RCN)
Training provided by the LCCH is Royal College of Nursing approved as professional courses.
